Hi and welcome to my page 'Craftypals'
Craftypals originated from two sisters love of all things crafty. A move back to Wales where we had been born, some six years ago, resulted in my finding what was to be my absolute love, the craft of needle felting. I started discovering the different fibres, and learning the art from felting groups & tutorials etc.
My first portrait was of my own dog Finley, a gorgeous white Japanese Akita, and I learnt to my surprise that I could needle felt his own fur!
Now I specialise in pet portraits adding the pets own fur where possible, I love creating portraits of a large variety of animals, wild and domestic and pour as much love and skill into recreating an image as life like as possible in an artistic manner.
I also take bespoke commissions. So, whether you wish to celebrate your love of your pet, a special anniversary, a birthday, or to use the textiles from a loved one in commemoration; from pets to teddies and landscapes, I work closely with every customer to ensure I meet their vision.
I create a large variety of other needle felted gifts, ranging from 3D hedgehog displays to hats and handbags, with love care and an attention to detail in every single item!

Lovingly Created Pet Portraits
